All venue details ↓Kyō is a nightclub in Basement Level 3 of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Its two rooms have different music programmes: kyō focuses on hip-hop and R&B, while Ren carries house, techno and disco.[1]
Planning a visit
The operator lists openings from Wednesday through Sunday, 10 PM to 3 AM. Use the event calendar to choose a room and lineup. The official website and linked booking channels also handle booth and bottle reservations.[1][2]
Tickets and age rules
Admission varies by event. For the DJ Lex event on 24 September 2026, the ticket page lists an 18-plus age requirement and separate early-bird, presale and door-sale tiers. The displayed presale ticket was MYR 78 at the September check, while early-bird tickets were sold out. These are dated event terms, not a standard club cover charge.[3]
Getting there
Use the Mandarin Oriental KL address in Kuala Lumpur City Centre and ask for the basement club. Check the chosen event's entry requirements and the terms of any table booking before paying.[1][3]
Table enquiries
Booth and bottle enquiries are handled through the club's WhatsApp reservation channel, +60 12 921 1730. Confirm the event and the room when requesting a table.[4][5]
Menu and current ticket check
The club's official links page separates event tickets, its hotline and a menu folder. Use the menu link when comparing bottle options, then request a quote for the actual room, table and date. The MYR 78 DJ Lex presale above was for 24 September 2026 and is not a current admission offer. The homepage also retains older event cards, so confirm the full event date before buying.[6][7]
