What we collect

You can browse Nightlife Asia Wiki without an account. If you create one, we store the email address, display name, and password (hashed — we never store or see the plain text) you provide. Content you submit — reviews, comments, bookmarks, and issue reports — is stored together with your account.

Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site ad-tracking.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic — page views, country, device type, and how visitors move through the site. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and sends usage data to Google, which processes it on our behalf; we do not use it to serve you ads. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and Google Analytics stays off there until you accept it on the cookie banner. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Spam protection

Forms that accept public input are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots. Issue reports are rate-limited by network address.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your data or run third-party ads. We share information only with the providers that help us operate and measure the site — Vercel and Neon (hosting and database) and Google Analytics (aggregate traffic measurement) — and only to the extent needed for those purposes.

Public content

Reviews and comments are public and shown with your display name. Choose a name that doesn't identify you if you prefer to stay anonymous — given the subject matter of this site, we'd encourage that.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and its content, contact us via the Telegram channel from a message that proves control of the account email, and we'll remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. See also our Terms of Service.
