Be the first venue they see
People come to Nightlife Asia Wiki to decide where to spend tonight, comparing venues, prices, and reviews across 300 venues in 6 cities. A sponsored listing puts your venue first in its category while they decide.
First in your category
Your venue is listed ahead of non-sponsored venues in its category: in its section of the city page and in listings such as Singapore KTVs, the pages people read when choosing where to go. That is the default order; readers who pick another sort order see that order instead.
The homepage's sponsored slot
One of the homepage's featured venues is a sponsored slot, held by one sponsor at a time. When several sponsors match what the reader is browsing, it goes to the one ranked highest by the homepage's usual signals: an editor recommendation, a dated check, a photo and recorded prices. It shows your venue's photo when its page has one.
Clearly labeled, never shady
Placements carry a small "Sponsored" badge. Readers trust the wiki because nothing is hidden, and that trust is what makes the placement worth buying.

What sponsorship doesn't buy
Sponsored placement is always labeled, and it never changes your reviews, your ratings or what your venue's page says. It doesn't buy the Recommended badge. We don't remove negative reviews for sponsors, and we decline sponsorships from venues with unresolved scam or safety reports. That's what keeps readers trusting the wiki, and what makes a sponsored spot here worth having.

Common questions
My venue isn't listed yet — can I still advertise?
Yes. Send us your details (name, address, hours, prices, photos) and we'll create the listing first, free, like any other venue. Sponsorship is separate from being listed.
Can I correct outdated info on my listing?
Anytime, sponsor or not: use the "Report update" button at the top of your venue page, or email us. Moderators review every report.
What's the difference between "Recommended" and "Sponsored"?
Recommended is an editors' pick, and it can't be bought. Sponsored is paid placement, and it's always labeled so readers can tell the two apart.
Sponsored placements are subject to our Terms of Service. We may decline or end any sponsorship at our discretion (pro-rated refund for unused time).
