Hamsup

Hamsup, also spelled as hamsap, humsup or ham shap, is a slang term frequently used in nightlife venues like KTVs in Singapore and Malaysia. In Cantonese, it generally means "perverted," "lecherous," or "lewd." However, within the context of KTVs in Singapore and Malaysia, the term takes on a more specific connotation.

In a KTV room, you can ask a hostess to "hamsup" you, which typically means she will give you a lap dance by sitting on your lap, facing you. Depending on the venue, the girl, and the connection she feels with you, the interaction may go further, possibly including making out or more intimate acts.

It's worth noting that KTVs with higher levels of playability tend to feature hostesses who are generally more open to "hamsup" interactions.
