Hotel Travel, along with its counterpart Classic Hotel, is an institution in Jakarta nightlife. It is more or less an open secret in the maritime Southeast Asian metropolis.
From the outside, it looks smaller or shorter than the Classic Hotel. The main spa area is to the left of the entrance to the hotel. Once you enter, you'll soon realize that it is far larger inside. Before you enter the facility you'll receive a bracelet with a number on it that'll track your spending.
As you enter the main hall, you'll notice dozens of girls are organized in groups seated immediately to your left. Each group of girls is led by a mama-san, and the mama-sans will immediately approach you and pressure you to pick one or multiple girls. Don't be pressured by them, and take your time. There are more girls in an additional room inside.
The main hall features a stage, surrounded by small tables and stools in the center, with sofas along the sides. Live music or a DJ performance kicks off in the evening, adding to the atmosphere. Beyond the stage, you'll find a second room with even more girls seated and ready for selection. Feel free to relax, enjoy a drink, and choose one or multiple companions at your own pace.
